LEARN THE TRAINING SECRETS OF HISTORY'S MIGHTIEST MEN!
Imagine that you could sit down across the table from the very strongest drug-free athletes who ever lived - men
like Doug Hepburn - Paul Anderson -- Arthur Saxon - Steve Stanko - John Davis - John Grimek - William Boone - Bob
Peoples - Herman Goerner -- or Sig Klein - and ask them exactly how they trained.
What equipment did they use? |
What exercises did they perform?
What sets and reps did they prefer?
How often did they train?
How long were their workouts? |
How heavy did they go?
What sort of diet did they follow?
What mental secrets did they employ?
...In short -- what were the secrets of their strength and power?
Well, I can't give you the chance to sit down and talk to the great lifters of the past. But I can give you the next best thing.
I'm putting together a regular series of detailed training courses that will tell you everything you want to know about the legendary giants of might and muscle - their lives, their lifting and their training.
The series is titled HISTORY'S STRONGEST MEN AND HOW THEY TRAINED.
I'm going to do a new course every two months or three months - and we're going to start right here and right now - with the Canadian Hercules -- DOUG HEPBURN.
Why start with Doug Hepburn?
Well, for one thing, the man was born with not one, but two disabilities - he was cross-eyed,
and he had a club-foot condition (which was later corrected by surgery that fused his right ankle joint,
and left his right lower leg little more than skin and bones.) Not a very auspicious
beginning for a would-be strongman - but he became one of the very strongest men of all time - a
World record holder -- and a World Champion in Olympic weightlifting.
And Doug accomplished this entirely on his own. He had no coach - no trainer - no lifting club - and no team. When he competed in the 1953 World Championships, he was the only member of the Canadian team to compete in the World Championships. |
Doug was the original powerlifter. He was the first man in history to bench press 500 pounds - and at one time, held the world record in the bench press and the world record in the squat.
Doug built himself from an ordinary youth into a mountain of muscle. He did it Dino-style -- with hard work, heavy iron and gallons of sweat.
And I'm going to tell you exactly how he did it - what exercises he used, how he trained, and what he ate.
And that's not all. I'm also going to give you not one - not two - not three - but 12 different training programs, each based on Doug Hepburn's actual workouts and on workouts followed by Doug Hepburn students and trainees at Doug Hepburn's Gym.
It's packaged in a giant 36-page course, illustrated with photos of Doug Hepburn in his prime.
If you're training for strength, muscle and power, then you could do no better than to train with Doug Hepburn --- the Canadian Hercules!
Yours in Strength,
